After watching the french bistro episode of Boy Meets Grill, Steven was dying for mussels and I was craving the chicken paillard. We ended up eating out Friday night at Belleville in Park Slope. Steven had his share of mussels but i was out of luck as chicken paillard was not on the menu. . .this meant we needed to make it the next evening for dinner.
Flay's recipe was simple and delicious- the chicken was tasty with a good lemon flavor and the dressing on the arugula salad was also super easy to put together and perfect on top of the chicken. Adding some sweet potato mash was a healthy way to add some starch to the meal.

We are thinking that french onion soup better be next in our bistro attempts here at the house. . .
Yummy chicken.. Gonna be first on my list for weekend..
